Are Kiwis stealing our jobs?25 March 2009COMMENTSLets be honest and say that NZ pay rates are actually lower than those in Aus. Read all comments »Are you angry that ANZ is shifting 100 jobs to New Zealand? The cost advantages of off-shoring to a country like India are clear, but why is ANZ bothering to move 100 Melbourne call centre jobs to Wellington? Surely the bank can’t be saving that much money by off-shoring to a country with similar pay rates to Australia?
